Healthy hair starts at the scalp

The one step most women skip (that changes everything)

Most people focus only on their hair when they want it to look thicker, shinier, or stronger. But here’s the truth: your scalp is the soil, and your hair is what grows out of it.

When your scalp is healthy, your hair has a much better chance to grow the way you want it to. When it’s not, you’ll see more shedding, buildup, itchiness, and dullness.

What healthy scalp care looks like:

  • Cleanse regularly, but gently. Overwashing can strip natural oils, but underwashing can clog follicles with sweat and product buildup.

  • Exfoliate the scalp. Just like your skin, your scalp benefits from removing dead cells and buildup.

  • Support circulation. A quick scalp massage (especially with a nutrient-rich oil) boosts blood flow and delivers more nutrients to your follicles.

  • Balance, don’t smother. Heavy silicones and waxes can weigh hair down and block growth.

This is exactly why MONAT created products like the Scalp Purifying Scrub (a gentle scalp exfoliant) and Rejuvenique Oil (to hydrate, balance, and stimulate circulation). They clear the foundation so your hair can actually thrive.

In my next email, we’ll finish the series with one of my favorite topics: how nutrition and supplements support hair growth from the inside out.

If you’ve never done a scalp reset before, reply to this email and I’ll share my favorite starter routine with you.
