Happy Friday!
Last week, I got out of my comfort zone to share some thoughts that I have been ruminating on this past year.
This week, I have much less profound things to share, but I’m hoping what I lack in profound-ness I will make up for in fun. We shall see!
Gabe was away on a work trip for a couple of days this week, and I solo parented with the help of our entire tribe here in Texas. Gabe’s mom picked up Shay and took him literally all day Wednesday, and my mom helped me with bathtime and bedtime Wednesday night.
Do I like asking for help? No, it’s the most uncomfortable thing for me to do. And yet, I am learning the importance of asking the people in your life that want to help for help. It fills everyone’s cups. And decreases overwhelm for me.

If I haven’t shared it enough, I LOVE our jogging stroller from Guava Family. We have taken it on every trip since we got it (I think it’s been 4 or 5 trips now). Recently, we went on a trip where we ended up using a pack n’ play for Shay, and we loved it SO much that we ended up getting the Lotus travel crib from Guava, too! It’s GREAT. Easy to set up, folds into a little bag that can turn into a backpack, and Shay seems to find it really comfy, which is ultimately all that matters. I’m sharing about the crib this week because Guava is having a sale this week/weekend on the travel crib and bassinet, and so if you have been waiting to pull the trigger, this is a great opportunity to save over $100!

I recently signed on to be a Market Partner for Monat. They are a beauty company, and I’ve been using one of their shampoo and conditioner sets for over 3 years. When I started using Monat, I was washing my hair 2-3 times per week, and my hair was really dry but also oily at the same time. Since I started using Monat, I wash my hair once every 7-10 days (yes, even during the summer), and it feels so much healthier, even after having two babies in a 2 year span 😅 . Obviously there are other things that play into your hair health, but I have really enjoyed using their haircare products, and I think it’s a great value for what you get. I only buy my shampoo/conditioner twice a year, so that to me is worth it. If you want to check out Monat, you can click here.
If you have questions, reply to this email and I’ll get you the answers!

I have been using these hydration packs from BUBS Naturals for the days when I run, because by the time I get out the sun is STRONG and it’s HOT. I’ve been using the lemon one- I like it because it is made with some coconut water powder in it, so there’s some carbs in there (10g). It’s GREAT when you load some ice in there- so refreshing! Don’t drink it at room temp- no hydration drink from any brand should ever be room temp it’s the quickest way to question your life choices. so gross.

Anywho, that’s all I’ve got for you this weekend!
See you next week, same time same place.
Xoxo,
Arielle
