Happy Friday!
I’m not a religious or overly spiritual person, but I do have an appreciation for a higher power. I think as a society, we’ve gotten disconnected, and maybe have even gotten to the point where we’ve written off religion. But there’s gotta be a reason why over the past 4 years there’s been a massive resurgence of people reconnecting with god or their own higher power.
I think when it feels really dark and scary in the world, having something bigger than yourself to believe in can open our minds up to have even a glimmer of hope that we’re not all doomed. Even as a Jewish woman, I can appreciate my friends sharing their bible verses and prayers (even if the teachings from my Old Testament don’t ever make a debut), because believing in any higher power isn’t really about what’s in the book, but the idea that we are all fighting for the greater good. And that greater good starts at home in our own hearts and then with our families.
God puts so much emphasis on family, because ultimately that’s where we make our biggest imprint. And I’m thankful to be surrounded by people putting their families first and serving a higher power, whether or not we read from the same book.
Okay, onward!

I got my eyebrows touched up last week, so I haven’t been out running, but I’m itching to get back out for a run! I actually signed up for an online running coaching app called Runna, and I did 1 week of workouts before I had to hole up inside for 2 weeks from my brows. Sigh, but at least my brows look good!
We got Shay his first bike this week and it was SO SWEET to see his smile so big. I was actually a little surprised that he knew what it was, but he immediately hopped on and started trying to move. SO CUTE. It’s from Guardian Bikes (not affiliated with them, I just love this bike). It’s a great strider bike because its very lightweight, so it makes it easier for Shay to use it on his own (hellooooo independence!). They’re also having a sale right now!

Back again with more Primally Pure love, because as far as skincare products go, I really do love their stuff. I shared about the deodorant last week but I would love to just circle back on that because it’s my favorite deodorant, hands down. It doesn’t clump or leave streaks, and is still a natural product. That’s pretty hard to do if you ask me!

Last week, we went and checked out a watering hole close by us and it did NOT disappoint. So refreshing and fun.
Anywho, that’s all I’ve got for you this weekend!
See you next week, same time same place.
Xoxo,
Arielle
