Happy Friday!

Hellooooo and Happy Friday!
Last week, our house (except Gabe) got hit by the flu, and somehow I got it the worst out of everyone. While I can’t say I particularly loved getting so sick, I have to say it reminded me just how amazing our families are, and just how resilient moms are. My mom came over every day to hang out with the kids at some point for me to just have some time to chill, Gabe took them whenever he could, and the rest of the time we just made it work.
It got me thinking about how as moms, we do most things from an empty cup. Especially with young kids, we are running on less sleep, probably crumbs and cold coffee for some meals, and we still keep the house running. If we can do all that with little to no fuel, imagine what we could do if we actually took care of ourselves?
If you want to be part of a community where moms are doing just that, come join Moms Training Club! And invite a mom friend to join you- the more the merrier!

This year, I am committing to dressing a little less sporty alllll the time, and a little more elevated comfy. I can’t get behind the matching sweatsuit trend and calling that an outfit (although you know I love a sweatshirt). But I can get behind pants that aren’t leggings or jeans. These lists on amazon have the pants I recently bought and have been wearing when it isn’t 80 degrees here.

In my journey to becoming more of a tradwife, I made gluten-free sourdough bread! My first loaf was pretty flat and a little dense, so stay tuned for how this saga goes. I am thinking of getting some gluten-free sourdough starter culture and some brown rice flour to continue feeding the starter I already have.

I just recently signed on as an affiliate with Kreatures Of Habit, because their overnight oats packets are awesome for the busy days when I otherwise would forget to eat a meal. I have tried the strawberry walnut cream, maple, and vanilla- they’re so good, and high protein! Gotta love that. You can get 10% off of your order when you use the code “BLOOM” at checkout.
I’ll hopefully be running a half marathon this weekend- I will be keeping everyone posted on Instagram how that goes!
See you in a couple of weeks, same time same place.
Xoxo,
Arielle
